2012 Sawbone Bioskills Workshop at Morehouse

It's that time again! Our annual Sawbones workshop with the entire first year class at Morehouse School of Medicine took place on January 27, 2012. Here is what one student had to say about the event: "I just wanted to say thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with the Orthopaedic Surgeons. I really enjoyed the experience and it reinforced much of what we learned in this unit. Prior to today, I had not been exposed to the world of orthopaedics and never really considered it an option. I can’t say definitively that I will be an orthopaedic surgeon, but I really enjoyed working with the tools and it is a possibility. Dr. Simpson-Mason, thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to come back and do this for us. Please express my sincere gratitude to the physicians that gave the demonstrations (and much needed review lessons J) as well as the administrators and executives that were responsible for funding this experience." -- Latanya T.
