Alumni Spotlight During our 2019 NDSI Orientation Alumni Dr. Elyse Brinkmann NDSI class of 2011 led several workshops.
Dr. Brinkmann will be graduating from the Orthopedic Surgery Residency program at Loyola University Medical Center this month. Beginning in August, she will start a Musculoskeletal Oncology Fellowship (2019-2020) at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. In 2020 -2021, she will complete an additional fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Adult Reconstruction.
Besides, all of her academic responsibilities, Elise was also nominated by her program to attend the American Orthopaedic Association Resident Leadership Forum (AOA RLF) in June 2018 in Boston, MA.
Dr. Brinkmann was also recently granted the Schwartz Traveling Fellowship by Loyola University Medical Center, which she will use to spend a month abroad (tentatively fall 2021 in England) to further her training in Musculoskeletal Oncology and Adult Reconstruction.
Alumni Dr. Brent Stephens Nth Dimensions class of 2006, is an orthopedic shoulder and elbow surgeon practicing outside of Orlando. He completed both his medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at Howard University. Dr. Stephens is well published in his field and has received numerous awards for his research on shoulder replacements.
